Today, there are many options available to clients who want to change or shape their bodies without surgical treatment. In this case, the non-surgical contouring treatment is an opportunity who want to achieve permanent, non-permanent results without leaving scars.
Non-surgical body sculpting is a procedure to help remove or reduce stubborn fat. The procedure is also called non-surgical fat reduction. There are various non-surgical body sculpting techniques available to help shape and contour the body.
HIFU is a non-invasive tissue heating and ablation method that reduces focal adiposity by emitting high-energy ultrasound waves at the skin at a low intensity before sharply focusing them at the level of subcutaneous adipose tissue (SAT).
The intensity of the waves on the surface of the skin is low to avoid tissue damage. However, at the level of the SAT, the waves are focused to a high enough intensity to cause focal coagulation necrosis. This fat removal is achieved by two mechanisms: hyperthermia and inertial cavitation. HIFU causes molecular vibration of the targeted fat cells and subsequent rapid heating to a temperature exceeding the upper limit of protein denaturation (60°C-65°C), resulting in coagulation necrosis (lack of oxygen).
The mechanical ultrasound wave also passes through the fat cells, creating cycles of increased and decreased pressure that draw gas out of the solution in the form of bubbles. When these bubbles burst, they release energy, causing further mechanical damage to the targeted fat cells. Dying adipocytes release chemotactic factors (substances that stimulate cell movement) that induce a mild inflammatory response and attract macrophages, which phagocytize and clear extracellular lipids and cellular debris.
The end result is a reduction of the subcutaneous fat layer without damaging the surrounding tissues.
No, the fat cells that are removed through the treatment will not come back, because adults have a limited number of fat cells, whatever is gone will not regenerate.
These studies indicate consistent reduction in abdominal circumference > 2 cm after a single treatment.
There are two phases of correction after HIFU Body treatment.
Phase one is the collagen contracture, which occurs as we perform the procedure. As a result, many patients will see a subtle improvement right after their treatment, and within a few days post treatment.
Ultimately the more impressive results are from collagen stimulation. In phase two, your body responds to the pinpoint thermal injuries placed in the deep tissues from the ultrasound energy by creating new collagen fibers. Collagen fiber formation can take several months, so the final results from HIFU body may take up to 6 months, however, visible change can be seen leading up to it.
Even after one treatment of HIFU Body you will see visible results. To get optimal results, we recommend 3 to 4 treatments 6 to 4 weeks apart. This may vary depending on the area of concern.
